Supernatural Thriller!
I love a great historical fiction that is not afraid to delve into the darker side and explore it. This book most certainly did just that. Mr. Icarus is a mysterious being that deals with supernatural forces head on. The author explains this beings past as he’s taken on supernatural foes from long before bringing us up to New Orleans during the jazz era.
The author has a masterfully way of describing the time’s period to where the readers can envision the moment. Here the era is described in details from the swanky jazz night club, the array of woman, and the wealthy aristocrats to the mobsters. For a brief moment in time his life seems to normalize until someone goes missing then once again Mr. Icarus is forced to deal with the enemy. This book is highly descriptive, intriguing and a wonderful supernatural thriller. I would highly recommend this book.
